Definition of gymnastics: Gymnastics is a sporting discipline that consists of executing systematic sequences of physical exercises in which different body skills are developed, such as strength or elasticity. It is one of the main Olympic disciplines.
Now if we talk about Angel Gabriel Barajas Vivas, better known as Angel Barajas, this high-level athlete in artistic gymnastics was born in Cucuta on August 12, 2006. He is currently 17 years old, this year he will turn 18.
This Colombian athlete won two gold medals in the World Youth Artistic Gymnastics Championship in 2023 where he was runner-up and won a silver medal in the All Around.
Let’s move on to his second stage, this year he is preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. At only 17 years old he obtained the quota to enter this very significant competition.
